The Raven Legacy 1.1

Dear Diary...

I watched in horror as everything turned to slow motion. The squeal of brakes, the horrible thump. The woman looked around worried, then took off. My dad lay on the road. It was dark. I couldn't see if he was breathing. I fished around in my pocket, and found my phone.

Fighting back tears I dialled 999 (I'm english) An annoyingly happy woman answered the phone
"Hello, how may I be of service" she said in a sing-song voice
"My farther...*sob*.... he was...hit by... a car...*sob*" I burst into crying.
The nurse (or whatever) asked more questions, but I couldn't hear. All I heard was that Thump!. It kept replaying again and again. Some how the nurse got enough infomation, and said an amubulance was on the way.

(sorry for the 'Z's)

No sooner had I ended that call, did my screen flash back to life. It read 'Evil witch aka Mother'. Perfect timing mum -_-. I answered the call. She started shouting about how I was late and all that. I tried to hold back from crying... but then I shouted into my mobile
"MUM! Dad was just hit by a car, and I think he might be dead..."

Tears wanted to come out... but they wouldn't. The line remained silent... I heard my mum finally start breathing again.
"Take him to the St Georges Hospital... I'll meet you there..."

The ambulance arrived and carried him away. I called a taxi and asked to go to the hospital. The man noticed I was in a terrible state, and didn't ask to be paid. I walked through the door. My mother didn't even look at me. Although it might have been that she was crying... The nurse said to wait, and my farther was been operated on...

The nurse was searching over that computer. The only sounds for that hour or so were the clicks of the computer keys. Finally she looked up and looked at me.
"You may go through now."

I raced down a labyrinth of doors, I heard that Miles Raven was in room 16A. I searched each corridor until I found 16A.

He lay there, so still. His normally neat hair was pushed around, his face was bruised and cut, and he looked pale.

I couldn't help myself. I burst into tears. He didn't stir. Deep down I knew he had died. But I still held onto that one spark of hope

Mum and the Nurse kept giving worried glances. They thought I didn't notice. But I did. Finally Nurse Cindy came up to me and ushered me out of the room.

Mum couldn't stop crying. I just stared ahead....

Nurse Cindy Walked in...

Mum lost it, and tears streamed down her cheeks.

"I'm afraid it's bad news..."

Sorry this one was rushed, I want to get to the actual legacy.

The Raven Legacy 1.0 (intro)

Dear Diary...

Shopping... Ugh... worse than that, grocery shopping. I'd much rather be climbing trees, or hanging out with my friends, but NOOOO, my 'mother' wanted me to go to the shops, and buy things like eggs and milk and... SPINACH! Yuck. Well you're actually wondering who I am...

My name is Renn Raven. Wierd I know. But I must admit, it suits my personallity. Today was my 14th birthday. I like climbing trees, mucking about hanging with friends, blah blah blah. Simply, I'm a tomboy. My life is mostly misery (thanks Mum). I get picked on at school (Thanks Vickie Greene). But my dad's always been there for me...

My dad saved me today. Ahhh Miles Raven, my hero . Anyway, Mum was goiing to make me go to the supermarket... alone... AND ON MY BIRTHDAY >:o. But my dad came with me. We ended up giggling and joking about, and ended up taking, like 3 hours, not 3 minutes. I love my dad so much. Thats what made today so bad...

And where was mum at this moment...

Probally stuffing her gob with even more food...

Dad pulled me from my thought by winking and smilling one of his special smiles.
Race ya. He said, like he was only my age
Only then did I realize that we had paid, and were ready to go. I need to add 'gets lost in thought... alot' to my profile.

He obviously pulled ahead. He turned back to face me and laugh in a kind mocking way. He was having so much fun, he...

didn't...

see...

the car...

until it was to late...
